Winners of INCA Award 2023!
We’re over the moon to announce that Fullers Plastering has landed first place in the INCA Awards 2023! Out of the two categories we were nominated for, we proudly took home the trophy for “Refurbishment of a High Rise with Render/Traditional Finish.”
About the INCA Awards
The Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) is the recognised trade association for the External Wall Insulation (EWI) industry.
INCA represents the major system designers, a nationwide network of specialist installers and the key component suppliers. They recognise the best in the business, and we’re honoured to be among them. It’s not just about bragging rights; it’s about pushing the boundaries of innovation in our field.
Our Winning Project
The Devonshire Mansions, in the heart of Eastbourne, stood as a beautiful old building complex with a rich history. However, time had taken its toll on the exterior, and Fullers Plastering were tasked with refurbishing its façade to make it A1 fire-rated. We knew we had a challenging yet rewarding project ahead of us.
This was a Government-funded safety project aimed at upgrading the outdated external insulation system. Our team worked to remove the existing insulation and replace it with a new cavity wall system featuring dual-density insulation. Additionally, we installed a new aluminium cornice detail to enhance the building’s aesthetics and safety.
The refurbishment process itself was a process of skill and precision. The project presented numerous challenges, including extreme weather conditions. Despite facing one of the hottest summers on record and some of the wettest autumn and spring seasons, our team persevered. Devonshire Mansions underwent a stunning transformation and our team’s dedication and hard work paid off!
A HUGE Thank You
This award is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication. None of this would’ve been possible without our incredible team at Fullers Plastering – thank you all! We remain dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and reaching new heights in every project we undertake.
We also want to thank K-Systems for their valuable contributions and insights throughout the project and the INCA judges for recognizing our efforts.
