Lace House Luxury Apartments

Being local to Brighton, we had seen this derelict building on many occasions. We always hoped to see it brought back to life and in use again. So when we were asked to be involved with the project we were very excited.

The Project

This Brighton project consisted of soundproofing 9 one and two bedroom apartments, by building acoustic walls and ceilings, which involved metal works and board. We then skimmed the whole of the internal areas.

We insulated the roof area, ceilings and walls. We built metal acoustic ceilings and walls and plastered throughout.

We worked with this project on and off for approximately 6 months. Being a refurbishment, there were lots of unforeseen  problems to overcome which made the build more interesting.

We finished on budget and hopefully look forward to working with the client in the near future.
